This Nutrition, Positive Eating & Early Years course has been designed for all types of childcare staff to understand positive eating and nutritional care.

As a result of attending this session delegates will understand the importance of promoting positive eating, for their own
wellbeing and the wellbeing of those in their care.

  • Helping fussy eaters
  • Encouragement of independence and involvement in meal times
  • Providing support and encouraging children to eat and drink
  • Risk assessing – allergies, choking
  • Food groups and food safety
  • Working with parents – queries, misunderstandings
