This Venepuncture training course is designed for all RGNs, enrolled nurses and qualified staff who may have not conducted venepuncture before or require a refresher to update their skill set.

This venepuncture training course will update your theory skills and provide the opportunity for practice before carrying out the procedure in a work environment. Following the theory of venepuncture there will be a practical session designed to offer all participants to put their skills into practice in a controlled environment.

Please note: A competency framework is included in this training. Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training. Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified, senior member of staff. The completed document can then be used to identify the individuals’ competence.
