We have a growing requirement for associate clinical trainers based in Cambridge, Peterborough and Ipswich.
The role of associate trainer requires a proven track record in the delivery of clinical training with a minimum standard of level 3 Education and Training certificate. You will be delivering half day and full day training sessions to a wide range of healthcare professionals within various health and social care settings from care homes, hospitals, secure units, GP surgeries and councils. You can view our Clinical range of training topics here (please be aware you do not need to be able to train every course! But the more you do, the more we will be able to offer you), but our ‘regular’ topics consist of, catheterisation, venepuncture, wound management, pressure area care & tissue viability, syringe driver awareness, enteral feeding and care of medicine & administration.
As a minimum we require you to own a smart phone, a laptop and a projector. Where practical elements are required for training, we can provide equipment including practice arms and syringes, mannequins, stands, bags, straps etc. As part of the induction process we will ask if you own your own equipment.
We have the requirement within Cambridge, Peterborough and Ipswich, but your travel radius is optional. The further afield you are willing and able to travel, the more opportunities we will be able to offer you, but if you wish to stay local, that’s fine too.
If this is of interest to you and you would like to find out more, please email your current CV to firstname.lastname@example.org and Vicki will contact you to discuss the opportunity further.
