This Learning Through Play training course is designed for those working with children and young people in a variety of settings who wish to understand how to create stimulating learning environments with a variety of resources and developmental activities engineered through play.

This is a theory and practical childcare training course and will explore a variety of play opportunities that can be used in various indoor and outdoor settings to support all areas of development and specific needs of children. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of the definition of play and its important role within development coupled with the skills to plan, implement and evaluate play opportunities within their setting.

This Learning Through Play training course will be delivered by a variety of teaching methods including: presentations; small group discussion; whole group discussion; practical demonstration; practical exercise.
