This Stoma Care training course has been developed to aid Healthcare workers and those who work or come into contact with people who require stoma care.

This Stoma Care training course considers the reasons for and the process involved with colostomy care in day to day living. Training will covers best practice guidelines and ensure that all attending will be better suited to delivering care for people who require stoma care.

Please note: A competency framework is included in this training. Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training. Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified, senior member of staff. The completed document can then be used to identify the individuals’ competence.
