Practitioners and managers have a responsibility to understand the processes set up to protect vulnerable adults who use their service.

They must ensure they are not only familiar with the disclosure process, up to making a referral, but also understand the local procedures that follow once a referral has been made. This Safeguarding of Adults Advanced training course is designed for all practitioners and managers who are responsible for safeguarding beyond the referral stage and covers the procedures up to and beyond this stage.
