CPD funded courses for healthcare workers in Hertfordshire
Acute Training Solutions work with some of the largest healthcare providers, councils and NHS units in the country, training over 10,000 nurses, managers and health care workers every year. We’re pleased to once again be an approved HCPA training provider, which entitles organisations in Hertfordshire to apply for a mandatory funding contribution up to £40 per delegate across a range of CPD training courses.
How the mandatory funding works?
The window for Mandatory Training Funding claims begins on the 1 April 2022 and claims will only be accepted for face-to-face training or for a webinar of 2.5 hours or more.
The HCPA cannot guarantee funding and funding is paid retrospectively, so please ensure your organisation can cover the full cost of any training prior to any bookings. For terms and conditions, and full details on how to make you claim, please visit the HCPA website.

Important information and how to claim
No members can claim funding until the training has taken place, and has been completed. Claiming back funds is based on a first come first serve basis, and the funds are never guaranteed as this is a contribution towards training. HCPA will not be involved in booking, payment or any other agreement made between Training Provider and members.

- Claim Form A: This is purely for registration and payment purposes. And only needs to be completed once per year by the Care Provider.
- Claim Form B: This is to indicate what course was delivered. This needs to be completed per course, with all the boxes filled in. Please note changes around webinars.
- Claim Form C: This is only required if you are still delivering face to face training. For webinars, you can submit your own online evaluation form, provided this was supplied during your application process.
How to submit a claim
The criteria below, stays the same as in previous years.
- Care Providers fill out necessary forms.
- Care Providers attach forms and send this to leighannreed@hcpa.co.uk.
- Please note all forms must be emailed. Paperwork can be sent by post but this will take longer to process.
