This Huntington’s Disease Awareness course has been designed to assist care workers to understand and work alongside people living with this disease.

The course provides the opportunity for a greater understanding of Huntington’s Disease and enables trained staff to build relationships and offer practical help through person centred care. The aims of this mental health training course are to enable attendees to understand: what Huntington’s Disease is; identify features of Huntington’s; know the reasons behind the disease; identify the role as a carer; help promote independence for your client; identify and help assist with your clients daily living.
