During this course participants will use a mix of theory and practical presentations to learn how to provide safe environments for service users who exhibit Pica (eating of inedible objects).

Throughout this PICA Awareness training course, the facilitator will employ a range of methods including brief inputs, discussion, small and large group activities and role-plays. The participants will be encouraged to make use of examples from their work and this will be done in keeping with strict confidentiality and anonymity of service users.
