Course information

This Defibrillation and Airway Management training course is for healthcare professionals who wish to learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The device can be used to administer measured electric shocks to people in cardiac arrest and is the best way of increasing the chance of survival and includes airway management.

The clinical training course syllabus covers such topics as:

This course can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates and can be tailored to meet your organisation's specific needs.

This course can be delivered via Zoom or MS Teams to a maximum of 20 delegates. Virtual sessions are most commonly used as refresher training sessions. Please note that there is no hands-on practical element in this training; practical elements are displayed using video examples.
