This Infection Prevention and Control training course is applicable for anyone working in environments where they provide direct or indirect care to vulnerable individuals, including care homes, hospitals, and domiciliary care services. Participants will learn about hygiene practices and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both staff and those in their care.

By the end of the course, attendees should be able to demonstrate good hand washing procedures, recognise the need for good hygiene practices, and  state the procedures for accident reporting according to RIDDOR guidelines. The course covers such topics as:

This course can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates and can be tailored to meet your organisation's specific needs. A full day option provides the opportunity for all delegates to participate in a practical workstation.

This course can be delivered via Zoom or MS Teams to a maximum of 20 delegates. Virtual sessions are most commonly used as refresher training sessions. Please note that there is no hands-on practical element in this training; practical elements are displayed using video examples.
